Story of a Citizen
Tunnel in the darkness as i see the light,
So far behind me
Catch another breath it felt just like the last,
As i come around again
Hot Knife, leaves my side, leaves me as i am
Alone in comfort,
Answering the phone voice breaking on the line,
I confide in you again
Everything i hate about her i saw in me,
I saw her leave
Comfort me when working days become years,
become the failure
Comfort of a mother shield from the storm,
The warmth of stasis
I am no longer here,
Im simply yet to be
Cure My City
Airborne
Is the virus from morning until night,
Breeding it’s bursting at the seams
And I’m faded from force feeding the dream
I’m caught in between
Murder
Crows of youth in packs obey the leader
I follow with my eyes and see the ruin
And I’m silent as they spit into the wind
I’m caught in between
And the Wind and the Rain and the Cold
Thunder storm
Looking out I see so many possibilities
Frailty
In the places we build in history
Though however broken they may seem
If I am you and you're the same as me
We’re safe in between
Hold on, one more year
You are not alone
Just make contact
Search and you will find
Secluded in the crowd
Someone like you
Someone good
Then comes the Wind and the Rain and the Cold
Thunder storm
Looking back I see so many insecurities
The Earth Is Burning
We held hands,
For the last night on earth,
Our mouths filled with dust,
We kissed,
In the fields,
Bleeding dark into the leaves.
So we walked,
Through the waste,
Where the road curved into the sea,
And where shattered season lay,
Echoes of the past broke the hearts of the unborn as the ferris wheel silently slowed
I felt,
The earth is burning
Strange we ran,
Desperate streets
Carved our names into the flesh of the city
And the sun stagnated
And the earth is burning
The earth is burning
